JOB DESCRIPTION
FREELANCE Senior Media Buyer, National Video
Looking for a strategic, experienced Media Professional freelancer to help us develop and refine our National Video Planning, Buying, Optimization capabilities. The ideal candidate must have a thorough understanding of the marketplace and media measurement tools and understand how to use the data to develop strategic plans and buys delivering on clients advertising objectives.
Role is currently freelance and part time (20 hours per week) and should last 3 to 6 months. Opportunities for role to transition to permanent.
Responsibilities
- Help establish best practices for planning and buying on national Video (Linear, CTV)
- Establish buying strategies for Upfront, Scatter and Programmatic Buying
- Help evaluate tools and partners for planning, buying and reporting included, but not limited to:
- Help evaluate current systems and look for efficiencies and improvements
- Flowcharting tools
- Buying software
- Media Management tools
- Develop and maintain POV on current marketplace and trends to watch
- Help establish direct and programmatic relationships/partnership in the marketplace
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in advertising or marketing
- Experience in National TV media buying
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- A Detail-oriented, team player with the able to multitask and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
