DIRECTOR, ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
To be a successful Director of Client Services at Curiosity, you must possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing. You must also possess superior interpersonal skills and be able to create a rapport with people of all demographics. You must be polished, maintaining a professional, put-together demeanor. You have to be incredibly confident, ambitious and self-motivated. You should thrive when working independently.

You must possess the ability to bring fresh thinking and curiosity to clients’ work to make them think about their brand in an entirely different way, and must have a passion for pushing the boundaries of knowledge gathering and testing new mediums to reach our targets. You must fit into a culture of self-motivation, quest for learning and team collaboration, while expressing a curiosity that pushes the boundaries on traditional thinking.
You will need the ability to manage communications for development initiatives, inclusive of digital advertising and traditional advertising. The position will require implementation and time management expertise for all project components. In addition, you will be responsible for building knowledge on existing and emerging communications tools and tactics, industry practices and trends, as well as becoming immersed in the clients’ business and category.
The Director, Account Management position is considered a key senior management position, interacting at the highest levels of the client and agency organization. As part of the account and creative team, you will be expected to help craft and execute ideas across various campaigns and media. You must be able to manage and aid development of creative for both traditional and digital advertising. You must be strategic and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating insightful, intelligent work. You must be strong at developing and managing disciplined and efficient work processes for your teams. As leader of the account team, you must be able to build and then manage a staff team.

Key responsibilities include: Strategic development, managing the client, client expectations and deliverables as the leader of active clients, as well as responsibility for all account staff members who will be reporting to this position.
Specific responsibilities include: Client relationship with senior brand clients, strategic planning and implementation, tactical planning and implementation, coordination with creative, interactive and other cross-functional agency teams, staff management and staff growth planning and mentoring, fiscal responsibility/budget management, overseeing performance measurement and reporting for managed accounts.
